Burton-on-Trent at the Heart of England
Although Burton-on-Trent is situated at the heart of England's commuter network, we are very lucky to play a major role in the formation of the UK's National Forest. It is estimated that around 7,000,000 trees have now been planted as part of the National Forest.
The National Memorial Arboretum also continues to develop in importance and is now rightly regarded as the centre of remembrance for persons of all walks of life who have lost loved ones as a result of conflict anywhere in the world. The NMA is run by The Royal British Legion, entrance to it is free and it is open everyday except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
From Burton-on-Trent a days return journey by road or rail is easily achievable to all major towns and cities throughout England. There are easy links to all motorways, we could not be situated in a more convenient location.
For a more leisurely pace Burton-on-Trent is also situated on the River Trent, River Dove, and the Trent and Mersey Canal network.
For the more impatient, a short journey to Nottingham East Midlands Airport, or to Birmingham or Manchester International Airports, can take you swiftly to all corners of the world. Similarly, people from all corners of the world can be transported to Burton-on-Trent just as easily.
